Been a good year indeed, loving the new techy stuff, specially Nomad, such a inspirational album.
I mean Dubstep was much more fresh and new to me when I first got into it (05/06) not saying it was better but the vibes certainly were

Naaah mate. A lot of that stuff from 2005 doesn't sound thaat great. The second Allstars mix is all too much on the same tip. Dubstep's diversified and got better. Inevitably there's more rubbish, 'cos there's more of it.Diablo wrote:erm,...2005 or STFU!!!!!
Too much bullshit music to sort through these days to find a few gems!!!
Time to leave the labels behind and find new sounds anyway..

Jungle isn't dead, or I wouldn't be making and selling tunes. As for the rest, it's still alive... underground. just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Keep your ear to the ground.starkey wrote:try not to live in the past.... cuz if you do....
rock music ended...
jungle ended....
punk ended....
techno ended....
hiphop ended....
and yes, 2008 was a dope year for Dubstep. people like Nero, 16 Bit and Crissy Criss have been smashing my ear drum.

Hip Hop isnt dead. Dont get me wrong, its probably harder to find the good shit but i wouldnt say its dead.
As for the thread starter good on ya. Nice to see some positive threads. I fucking love dubstep and i like people like you! haha
