Where to buy minimal techno online?
I've really been getting into this style lately but don't know the first thing about where to go to purchase tracks aside from beatport.com. Is there another resource out there? Also, is there anywhere that'll list a bpm count alongside the track? I'd prefer to keep it around 140bpm so I can mix it in with the dubstep tracks I already own.
juno is where i get all my minimal techno/house tunes from. i dunno how good it is for digital releases though if thats what youre after. not sure about anywhere that lists bpms, but its very unlikely youll find any minimal techno above around 130bpm (apart from some of the older daniel bell type stuff)

always good to have a variety of sources:

a lot of the same places you will find dubstep, honestly.
and yeah, don't expect to find minimal stuff hitting 140 bpm. most of the stuff these days is hitting at 130 or slower. if you wanna play dubstep with it, speed up the minimal, slow down the dubstep, or just work your way from one to the other throughout a set so you can speed up as you go.
also, peep www.mnml.nl lots of free netlabel release links posted there. some great stuff in there if you do some digging.

Thanks so much for the links. I'll check out these other sources. I just grabbed about 30 tracks off of beatport and had a little mix session. I wound up doing just that with the track speeds. Everything got measured by Serato at around 127, which is good enough. It's just a matter of finessing your way back and forth between the two stylessapphic_beats wrote:always good to have a variety of sources:
