Does anyone enjoy scratching over Dubstep&Grime?

Not blazin' it at every second that is, but carefully complimenting the sound of the tune (preferably with a good fx unit with a nice amount of delay/reverb runnin)?
Or does everyone just mix?

Yo!
I'm not going to arcane tonight, but Rich 'll be doing his thing one of the rooms... djin' that is. Whether he does the hotkey beats I dunno. He's rather addicted to it god bless his cotton sox.
For god sake get on his case to do some cuttin'....... cos he is really good, but he's really paranoid like "ohh I don't know.... people won't want to hear it just now..."
So I'm always like "shut the fuck up and get on with it man!"...
He'll be doin' a bit of dubstep at some point though.

Yer man I recon more turnabalism in Grime would be could. In my opinion its perfect for beat jugglers as it is easy to chop and alot of the sounds repeat on bars. Scratching on dubstep might be alright but I recon u could run the risk of ruining the certain laid back, but dancy vibes on dubstep tracks, maybe mixing 2 different vibes could be massivly effective though?
It needs sumone good @ scraching to show off the style. It might sound wicked! who knows. I will look fwd to hearing sumone buss that in future. Im always up for hearing new styles, variety is the spice of life, me old mucka.
I got a couple of scratch records and used to try it on jungle back in the day, but i was pretty fucking shit!
i do like good exucuted scratching though! as long as its clean cut heavy patterns with interesting samples. I want to learn proper but i dont get enough time to do that now.
Hype was always my favorite scratcher, cos i like his selection as well as turntablism. and some jungle aint far of sum dubstep. (in my opinion)

The NozL boys can scratch like you wouldnt believe ! two of the best DJ's I have ever had the pleasure to bearwitness. I think dubstep and grime are both perfect for scratching unlike drum and bass which is a little to fast and means scratches have to be blazingly fast and cheesy ... but the stuff kirky and rich have been doing is what you could call tasteful and not ott.
rich played some dubstep last night but there was nee cdj so no hot key mashup bidness... i finnished a two hour drum and bass set with thunder-Vex'd and it went off !!! big up to anyone who went to arcane last night !

140bpm is perfect to scratch to, because really you're just scratching at 70bpm then double timing to get 140bpm. Its a nice blend, and as long as you be selective with samples/tune/fx and length of scratch time it can work pretty well.Always thought scratching at tempos above hiphop tended to sound a bit cheesy, dunno...
Horrorshow for instance is good to cut to. But even that must be slow/dark moody vibe patterns , if you get the jist.
But then we're scratch nerdz aswell so our thinking may be slightly wayward.
oh yeah.... and Rich said that when he put dubstep on in his room in arcane..... it cleared the dancefloor!!
Wont stop us playin' it though
There will be some time in the not-so-distant future though that those same folk will be on the dancefloor cos they think its cool and its the in-thing to be associated with.
What can you do?
