big big big night!!!

FWD>> is always good but tonight was a really special one IMO...

Ramadanman played a really good set...warmed things up nicely...he absolutely killed it when he dropped Groove Chronicles' 'Masterplan' :D

Shackleton got everyone bouncing...wicked vibes...deep, dark, haunting and yet uplifting...awesome movement...

Joker completely and utterly smashed it...so many huge beats...so sick...'Do It' is such a big percy for me...i loved the fact he played 'The Horizon' and 'The Unknown'...really lively set..dope selection and mixing...very very impressive...

Yea heavy night, shackleton rinsed it, felt like he was just getting started when it was time for joker, who also destroyed it.

How fucking rammed was the place, never seen a que there before! I had mates waiting 45 mins then not even getting in!

Ramadanman was SO sick. If you are reading this then big big up and please post the name of the tune you dropped with the kids playground sample (like the one in Blimey) it was heavy!

It was so packed as a lot of people are now off work/uni for Christmas no doubt.

Had to leave near the end of Shackleton as my lady was falling asleep, was nuts to see a huge queue outside then!!

shackletons set was jaw droppingly good! put me in some next trance or something silly. rams was good too. mixing while shack was setting up was a highlight, ha. joker standard super crunk business but i was too tired to get into it, literally couldnt get any where near the dancefloor as it was so busy. getting busier and busier each sunday it seems.

Had to queue for an hour from like 10:30 or so, teaches me for turning up late. Missed the whole of Rams and got in midway through Shackleton's set. Shackleton played the best set I've ever heard at fwd, and it was easily one of the best musical experiences I've ever had. I think he was playing a lot of new bits which are just taking his sound to new levels, I was completely zoning out for parts of it - complete trance business. Really gutted I didn't arrive earlier and catch all of it.

I thought Joker was good. Really quick mixing, but in honesty I thought the sound was a bit harsh and got too much at times over a whole hour set. Was good to hear do it and tempered in the set. Anyway, place was absolutely rammed and I spent more or less my entire time there in the speaker section so didn't really chat to anyone. It was the first time I'd been there on a sunday and the atmosphere felt like the old friday ones - surely people on holidays from uni and people getting time of work had a lot to do with it as mentioned above.

^Lol, cant have been many people behind you, that happened to me at DMZ... 2 hrs wait and if I'd turned up 15 mins after I got in I couldve walked straight in...

thought Shackleton was a good... but joker seriously smashed the shit out of the place. Mad respect.

Feelin the burn now though...

^^ system was great yesterday, especially during shackleton. Found sometimes it was a bit loud and began hurting my ears during Joker, which is what you get when you forget earplugs......

Well I'm glad i wore earplugs this time. I could tell Joker's set would've been painful otherwise.

Yeah Shackleton's set was incredible, there was this one tune he played which just blew my mind, it had a sample of a guy saying something like "sit, lowered like a beat'. Anyone know it?
Joker and Ramadanman were great too. Loved it when Ramadanman dropped Qawaalii, never heard it on a big sound system before.

Wasn't feeling how packed it was though. Especially when people took the piss and pushed past me like they were going somewhere, and then just stopped right in front of me. Happened to me a lot, i may resort to swift punches in the back of the head next time

yea i gotta know what that tune was. ramadanman was honestly one of the most enjoyable sets i've heard for AGES, so many deep rollers gettin everyone movin.

i don't even know what to say about shackleton's set; i swear i zoned out for half of it (in a good way). the only thing missin was a fire in the middle of the floor to dance around naked. cannot big the man up enough.

also really sorry to the guy i butted in the nose... i tripped over someone's foot. wasn't even that pissed but it was mad hectic in there last night.
