Don't push it. Find other stuff to do and eventually it will come back, don't worry!
Everyone gets one of those once in a while.

Listening to people like this with fuckin amazing production and creative ideas usually makes me want to try new things and push the quality of production. This can then lead to a whole new string of ideas and possibilities.
Excactly what I do when Im running low on ideas or confidence.

everyone is pushing out tracks out their anus soo quickly, like 2 in 1 week that they haven't taken much time and consideration in the track.
They just think, hmmm that sounds good, i will copy/paster that all the way until it reaches 4-6 mins. the mixdowns always sound wack and i hate this way of working.
I can understand everyone trying to get their dubs out as quickly as, but in the end the music is paying the price of quality.
I spend at least 2-3 weeks on a track tweaking and mixing all the time. even after a mixdown, i stick it on my ipod and listen and take notes on what could be changed/improved and then i will make a second mixdown to compare and decide which is better.
Im not a slow worker, i know logic in and out, but i cant help stressing that taking your time helps. So don't worry about making 1 tune a month because they will sound better than the 20-30 tracks you will make in a year in a rush...
Breathe...

Totally agree with you on this, quality over quantity is the key. I personally write really slow and often never finish a track as I dont think the idea is good enough. I dont think I'll even let my music out to be heard for a long while yet, not until I feel its up to a high standard of production.

I've played for a while and I don't have many finished tunes. Sometimes, when I think a tune is finish, I just save it and start on a new or work on another tune. Then a few days or weeks after, I play the tune again and suddenly my mind explodes with all different kinds of ideas to make it more complete.
Sometimes when I mess around with different sounds and effects, I create two very different beats that I can work on later, or add to another tune I'm working with.
A note to this thing is that you also have to be determined. If you can decide whether a tune if finish or not, it's hard to get any stuff done.
A little reminder! Never erase any tunes or beats, just save them in your library. Not everyone, but some of them will be used sometime!
But don't worry. I've had periods where I never made a thing or when I worked on a tune, I just couldn't get the idea converted from my mind to Logic, I'm sure everyone has tried that.
Good luck!

			I struggle with this periodically,
what helps me is listening to other genres, or better yet, working on other genres.
I also produce electro house, so swapping back and forth between the two allows me to carry different concepts between the two.
Even if you're not into a lot more than dub, try messing around with other sounds, do some "experimental" stuff, anything to get away from the same ol' shit your tired of hearing/producing and you'll start to find more things to add to your sound.
It's all about noise experimentation holmes

Something I posted in another topic which might be worth a thought!
Interesting topic!
I dont knwo if many people know this, maybe you all do but I found it very interesting and apply it to my production all the time now.
Right Vs Left brain activity!
Simply put.... One side is creative and one is technical! So when building either work in pairs, one playing the melodie, getting the musical side down and the other tweeks and does the technical side!
When producing you either get stuff down, doesnt matter if its not fitting right just keep selecting sounds, creating patterns and melodies and focus on getting all your elements in and once you have most of the sounds for your tune then get technical!
I dunno if anyone knew it but from a point of productivity its done me the world of good! If I'm in the mood for creating something new I just got with it now and when I'm done playing I'll go back to an oolder track and get down and dirty with it!
Helped me! I believe it was in a book Distance advised me to get, I'll dig it out for yaz!
