Weak Lemon Drink

For those of you that may have missed it by being nippers or having something more interesting to do, I think this is some of the most psychotic comedy I've seen. Think this was early 90's if anyone needs a date for whatever reason from the series Fist of Fun.

Pity I couldn't find the egg-smashing one, that was genius

hold tight my lee and herring soldiers! they all used to live in balham you know!! hence 'peter the balham virgin'.

fof was 1993 mate. i know these guys' comedy output like some people around here know dubstep (i.e. in excruciatingly dull detail). you can actually buy cd-rs of tv rips of all of fist of fun and tmwrnj (and fof radio shows, which are wicked) off ebay for like a tenner - i did and they're really not bad quality.

there's no point waiting for dvd releases, as bbc2 unceremoniously lost most of the master tapes, which pretty much typifies their attitude to new comedy.

my flatmate and i have actually taken to calling this really BORING guy we know 'weak lemon drink'. it's the only expression that can sum up how dull he is.

Cheers for the tip-off about e-bay, found both series of FOF and TMWRNJ on one DVD for a tenner - seems a bit pricey for a booty, but if the BBC aren't going to show it again or put it out on video, they're not exactly losing business are they

Don't think it was repeated and the BBC lost the tapes, something they could've done with My Hero/Family but for some reason didn't. Arse monkeys!!!!

Yeah, Little Britain is basically the Fast Show for folks that like laughing at the poor - odd that they're both public schoolboys isn't it.

A couple of good gags that really didn't extend to three series I think.

Was Fist of Fun the thing with the "I AM ROD HULL. I AM HIM" guy who
screamed for jelly?

Or was that something else entirely?
