skream is a innovator, creator and originator.

not to mention all new talent he has bring into dubstep! he's been pushing new producers. not to mention he was prolly first one to drop clouds "shallow" back inna days! come on people... this thread is allmost a hate crime!

i feel so sad to see thread like this.

dumb question

he's not overrated at all, he's a gifted producer and his work rate is phenomenal. he is internationally respected for his work and could abolutely destroy a dancefloor with a set consisting solely of his own tunes if he chose to

It is about 95% people saying that he's a genius and that the OP dun know, though - if you changed the title to 'Skream is a Genius' and edited the first post it'd basically be an appreciation thread.

It's not like there's some massive hate going on...

He's made more that several tune's that I would call genius. Don't make me name them and then put youtube links to them, cos I will. I fucking will.

can i just say that WE producers OWE U NOTHING!!!...

music is our love and an outlet to express ourselves, tunes coming out in stores, is our way of sharing it with U the world, every positive thing that comes from that is a bonus.

skream being where he is, is a reflection of his hard work, in life u get what u put in, it is not for U or I to speculate wether he is genius or not, IT IS WHAT IT IS!!

skream's musical journey is far from over, the scene changes everyday with every tune that is made all over the world.

stop dwelling on the past and the future, and just roll with the here and now, because that is all that truly matters

skream has done a lot for me and antisocial, and is a major part of the foundation of this music that we call "dubstep"

ollie, when u see this(which no doubt u will) take no notice, because after all the hype, and girls, and people saying "yes dubstep is cool" go's

its just gonna be us the producers,dj's and the REAL heads picking up the peices.
well said bro.

oli gets it the hardest these days from the internet, and you can count on the fact that winning best of british and being on the cover of magazine after magazine also stirs up the envy and jealousy crew hiding behind screenames.

oli and hijak are two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, and at the end of the day, as you said so well, he owes nothing to anyone.

big up skream.
this forum has too many lonely nerds.

this is even worse than the
caspa + rusko "i don't like people listening to the same music as me cos then people don't think i'm cool anymore" hate threads.

we can't let our community's forum end up how the dnbarena has.

P.S - is brown bread genius or over rated?

I'd just like to point out that I wasn't actually talking shit about Skream, though no one directly accused me of doing so. I fully realize that he's a hard working individual with integrity. I respect him, even if his music isn't exactly my cup of tea. :}
