If this thread shows one thing, then it is the huge amount of respect and praise that people have for skream..
Maybe 5% of the responses are negative ones.. as someone correctly stated if you release tunes you might just have to cope with the fact that not everyone likes them, I really can't see how that can be a problem.

I think you should really grow a thicker skin, not everyone is always gonna have praise for what you do.. so what? you know about the quality of your music and many other people acknowledge that, that should be enough.
However opinions should be allowed. End off. It's called dubstepFORUM after all...
I hear what ur saying bruv, but like quest said b4,music is very personal 2 us, we aint hear for money or anything else first and foremost. Imagine i went on a reggae forum, and i was a total nobody, now remeber, people that listen to any form ov reggea, they are rightous people, u think they would stand for any1 saying or asking for da matter is Bob Marly & The Wailers genius or over rated???That would be total madness the scene if they heard that, not even a tv program taking the piss would ever get away wid that. Its a respect thing at the end of the day, it wasnt easy for none of us in the scene to get to where any of us is now, infact, its still fucking hard.

Im sure when ollie saw this, it burnt him, to know how hard he has worked over da last 7 years from such a young age, coz u know what, it burnt me, coz ive been there from day right der with him.

Like the saying in Cool Runnings

''I see pride, i see power, i see a bad ass moda, who dont take, no shit of ov nobody''

Thats what it is out ere, us dj's and producer in the scene have hearts, and we care, we have emotions, so dont get offened if u see an artist expressing themselves you wouldnt expect them to do, coz at the end of the day, we are being as 'REAL' as we can be.

There's alot of fakes in this scene, but the respect they get is incredible

bun dat.

The End.

p.s I dont wanna seem rude on here, im a cool guy, i just have to say what i feel,i mean well @ da end of da day, and i stick up for my musical brothers when needed.
fairplay mate. I get what your saying.. I know it's more work than some of us like to think it is sometimes..

and lol at you quoting cool runnings.. that has to be a first in a serious thread

Seriously though... you aren't shit in the game if you don't have haters. The wind ain't blowin hard unless someone is complaining about the weather.

So you agree that if it were not for the existence of Skream or Benga, the scene wouldn't exist.. and also, he named it dubstep..?

doubt it, there was always somone doing it before the other guy.

Abs we are not here to re write history for u
U have to read blogs, this forum and get some knowledge before attacking people like u do
it is obvious u don't have the whole time line and ofc it is upsetting when ignorant people are talking shits
it is the case here and will be the case for everything
So now please stop to troll this board go and learn and then be back with critiscism based on facts ! Not only your impressions

Thats true but its a bit annoying when some little gimp is on his parents computer mugging u off in public hiding behind an alias - If your gonna slag someone off u should at least have the balls let them know who u really are!

Deep stuff, dark stuff, Reggae influenced stuff, and everything in between, the guy has countless tunes he has made that rock different vibes and spark a range of emotions for me personally. Bottom line, the guy is consistent as fuck and I'll keep listening to & buying what he puts out.

My view: Skream is a brilliant producer. So versatile, producing tunes from filth to more relaxed stuff like love the way, and then the recent jungle bit he did.

All of which I have witnessed tear up a rave. But I can just as easily put on some of his stuff when I'm sitting in my house a just relaxing.
