So i've been using reason for a little while now, but what i can't get is on the thor if i'm automating the rate on the lfo for the "wubs" i don't know if i'm staying in tempo or not. like if i'm automating using the pencil tool and i have the line of automation starting on a value of 50 for one not and then 100 for the next i dunno how that works out in 1/8 notes or 1/8t anyone know?

In the automation page, try turning off 'snap to grid'. Next experiment with the height of the automation on the graph. Eventually you'll find the right spot to get which ever timed wobble you want.
Also, set your lfo rate, then right click on the lfo rate button and create an automation lane for that controller. As long as you already set the knob to the rate you want, the first time you click on the automation page with the pencil tool, it should be set at the current position of the rate knob.
Hope that makes sense, if not, read the manual or ask someone at propellerheads!
