If you could sit down with any producer....

Post by mumble » Wed Jan 07, 2009 12:02 pm

If you could sit down with ANY producer and talk production with them who would it be ?

Inside of dubstep Mala,Silkie or 2562. Outside of dubstep Ricardo Villalobos and DJ Premier.

Ooooh It'd be pretty hard to choose one.

Deadmau5, DJ Premier, RZA, Liam Howlett...

Dubstepwise probably Cluekid or Pinch - find his tunes quite boring but the productions always immense

Probably Quincy Jones...

...but other contenders would include Hank Shocklee & Rick Rubin.

To be honest its too hard, theres loads, since answering the post first of all i've been arguing with myself over it. Theres so many producers i admire and would love to have a sit down with

Aim, Bonobo, Fatboy Slim, Chase and Status, Quantic, Ez3kiel...Its an endless list that will keep on growing the more music i listen to.

Benn Jordan and Amon Tobin.

In dubstep, I think I would echo the 2562.

Benn Jordan made me want to make electronic music, Amon Tobin's sound is just so organic and smooth.

fuck talking about production, that would bore me to death

i'd love to spend a day with coki, find out where he gets his chronic, and watch him make a tune.

Coki, Lee Perry or Madlib. i'd like to spend a day making beats with them
