DSF Q&A Sessions?

Post by Disco Nutter » Thu Jan 08, 2009 7:02 pm

I was thinking about such a thing lately... obviously a rip off (DOA - duuh!), but the name could always be changed :6:

Would anybody be interested? Not that I have anything in particular in mind, but why not ask, somebody can get a move on things.

Would there be a point?

Cheers.

It would be nice to get some bigger names in here like back in the day..

I'd love to have a Cyrus or Kode9 one. That'll be amazing :o

Sounds good, why not? I don't think anything too terrible could come out of it...

nahh

we have a very respectable producer lined up

he'll answer the questions he wants

if someone is asking "how duz I make wobbles in massive?" that question will be ignored

ask real questions

get serious answers

next level shit

the anarchic nature of this sub forum is in need of a little respect

I think this might help

biggup Johnny Beat for sparking this idea

it's on

A few valid questions:

1)At what point did you start making tunes that you were confident enough people would appreciate not only musically but from a production side as well? (When did you get to a point where you could sell your music to the masses)

2)Are there any particular production tips you have which put you in a position from being just another amateur with a computer to making professional sounding dance music.

3)Although its getting a lot more publicity its still pretty underground - Do you find that the birds are choking for a smashing simply because of your status as a producer, or when your in clubs and shit do they not really even notice you if your not behind the decks.
Just another number in the chuckle demographic

Keep questions out of this topic, it's for discussion of the concept as a whole :)

We'll post a topic and stuff when we get it running.

Cheers!
