Haha... Glad you like it :)

Started this 2 or 3 years ago, only finished it the other week. It sat there for aaaaages cos I couldn't be bothered to finish it

The main grumbly bass is Surge, split into low/high groups for all manner of grievous but subtle abuse. The sub drop on the one is sampled from the film NARC and is treated a bit individually. The ffffwwwwoooww effecty bass shit is a mixdown of the surge thing twisted up as audio and arranged selectively.

All those are treated (corrections) individually, are arranged so as not to interfere, then run to one group and treated for fatness and level. Can't recall the individual plugs used but UAD features heavily I think (maybe the 33609SE which I really like for sub).

..... oh and no sidechaining :6:

For me it is all about the cheesy 80's kung fu piano/pad/breathing/fx sample which took more work than anything to make it work but still sound natural. That started the whole thing, from some film called Escape From Brothel  Hence the name - I couldn't include Brothel!

Not all the stuff on the site is mine, it is split between our two studios. Most of it is in the other one - but I have the best bits, hehehe :D

Shit stuff for production - shit springverbs, cassette etc

Proper high-end for mastering ;)

BTW if I ever get time I may try my hand at something dubsteppish... but too much mastering means I don't get time to write anything at all, not for a year now.

what is it like mastering all the time?

i have never ever really thought much about mastering but i bet there is an art to it and it's probably a good way to go career wise.

I mean, would you not rather spend more time producing?
