noisy rubbish
I actually quite liked that, nice and chilled but still pretty heavy on the bass, reminded me of that 'trust nobody' tune by someone on tempa, cant remember.

the only thing i'd say to change is those bongos, i'm not a massive fan of them when used in electronic music.

Heres what ive been working on tonight

only started it a few hours ago, trying to geet that synth sounding lush.

There is a subbass in there, but im working on headphones so im not sure if you can hear it. can you?

I think im gonna change the hi hats aswell, they seem a bit annoying to me... dont know if anyone agrees?

Just a reminder that this is a rough mix and that

any criticism or feedack or anything welcome. its 2 am here and i have no one else to talk to.

haha

Easy

P.s. the tracks on the myspace called chicago

Just uploaded space case. I started playing around with some of Logic's plug in's that I had never used & came up with some alien sounding stuff. Hence the name. I feel like it's the most dubstep sounding tune I have made yet. Think it may need some more variation on the bass, and it may need some other elements but not sure. Input would be highly appreciated

I could kind of make out the sub, but I'm listening on headphones. The track is ill. Reminds me of early / mid nineties techno. The drum/percussion feels half way between a breakbeat & dubstep, and it works really well for this tune. Quite impressed with your tunes, especially knowing that you are 17 - keep it up man. I'll be looking forward to a 320 of Chicago when you are done

nice tune mate :D

love the bass, and that athmoshpere sound in the backgound. Work well together.

Watch out for the distortion at lik 1:33 might just be my speakers / crappy internet connection though.

Other than that, its really good mate

Tis a song I've been working on for a while, had a bit of trouble finding a decent bassline for the first section, but I'm quite happy with it now :) Not so sure about the space in the mix though, think it needs another melody, a pad or maybe an arpeggiation or something :) But then again, lemme know whatcha think!

Peace and Dubs,

Here's a snippet of a tune I've just started to flesh out. Pretty minimal sounding ,looking to start bringing in and building up the percussive elements

so, i bought Camel Audio's new synth Alchemy yesterday and came up with this while learning it. All original sounds except the drums were a preset. Only external processing is a tiny bit of eq and compression on the bass. Not a full on track or anything, but i thought it was worth sharing.
