I was quite excited about it when it first came out, but having watched a few, it does seem a bit too reminiscent of past glories. Preferred his C4 show to be honest, there were links but each sketch seemed to have it's own distinct personality, whereas I think the format of this one does tend to make it a bit samey.

weird, after watching time trumple last night, uncle tony came on the box going,
"i must apologise on behalf of the labour party..."
for a moment, i thought they'd done one of those premature-end-credits jobs that used to happen sometimes. (complete with fake trailers and opening creds for newsnite)
but no, tony blair was actually getting all humble, eww creepy.

It has it's moments. Some is really funny, some really isn't. Well worth watching though for the good bits. I had to put The Day Today on after just for an extra hard hit.
