Kitchen Sink is on Amon's last release Foley Room. If you dig that track you HAVE to check out the song Big Furry Head from the same album.

THEN you need to backtrack and pick up all of his albums.

Also he released an album before Bricolage under the name Cujo. The album was called "Adventures In Foam" and is also a superb listen. I'm sure most of the Amon heads here know that but for anyone else that isn't aware I'd recommend grabbing it as it really is awesome.

The guy is without doubt an absolute don - but also one of the most pricey and difficult artists to book I've yet tried!! The reason why you very rarely see him in the UK....

Yeah, I really enjoy his tunes also. It's electronic, but it hardly seems like it. He's definitely a musical genius.

No surprise really. He's Ninja Tune's top seller and is based in Canada so I guess before you even offer the guy a cash sum you have to buy his return plane ticket first! Sucks how little time he gigs here. The last time he was in Scotland was 2002!

Come back Amon!!!!

Amon Tobin is an amazing artist!!
He's been blowing my mind since i started listening to him through a coorker....she was trying to get me to come out to his show at the Commodore, here in Van, but I never got work off. She put together a cd of 'Out From Outwhere' and a few other tracks, to show me what I missed, and I've been hooked ever since!

Funny thing is, couple years later, I picked up a digital recording of that very set I missed, at the Commodore in Van.

That Donau festival set is some wickedness......i really wanna see this guy at shambhala.

Esther's is the only thing I listen to on Foley Room, mainly because I'm in doubt that anything will compare to it.
