like the vibe of this. really sparse n crawling. you're percussion is very unusual, dunno if thats intentional, as far as i can hear there's no kick, n the snare is really fuckin bassy. is a cool approach, very unconventional, but still works. nice one. reckon an alternative mix with a more orthodox rhythm track wouldn't go amiss tho. keep on it bro!

Cheers for the comments.

It was intentional that there wasn't a kick drum, I accidently muted the kick track when playing back and found it sounded much better without it. As for the snare, its clearly pitched down and given a little reverb, but the bass is coming from the sub track that kicks in on the beat. I might change that a little, not sure how it would sound on a decent system.

There is a remix being carried out right now, undertaken by Ether. Haven't heard it yet but apparently its disgusting, so no chance of an orthdox percussion track.

not a bad track at all!.. got my noggin' bobbin' even with the missing kick. The Massive Disturbance that happens a few times (last one to finish the track) seems pretty severe.. but might sound good on a rig! The only criticism I would have of an otherwise stylin tune, is that it gets back into things a bit quick after the rest at 2:30 - why not make 'em wait? and re-introduce with a subtle build? Enh? Enh? :!:
