Linking a Vestax VMC-002XL to a Mac laptop. Can anyone help?

Easy

Ive got a Vestax VMC-002XLu and wanna record on to my laptop. It has a USB connection and I have the right lead and followed the manual guidelines but it still doesn't work! I have a MacBook Pro which im guessing may have something to do with it but was just hoping there was someone out there that has the knowledge to help me out....

What program are you using to record..? Try going to 'System Preferences' > 'Sound' and make sure it's set to 'Line In' rather than 'Internal Microphone'.

That may not be the problem but it's worth a go.
