Cant believe ive been sleepin on this genre for so long. Only in the last few months have i been introduced to dubstep, I mainly listen to broken beat & Hip Hop. But i cant get enough!!!!
I know i probably sound like a right plank

, but i dont think ive ever got so excited over a music scene.
could anyone give me a heads up on who & what to look out for and where i can buy music, preferably digital as i live in Bangkok Thailand & there isnt many independant record shops here.

Hello!
It's great to know you love dubstep so much, but i'm afraid the scene is actually dead, it was killed by Ketamine a few months ago, or Rusko or something.. who knows, anyway, it's all about Funky House now!

BTW I've been to a dubstep night in Bangkok, upstairs at one of the crappy bars on Khao San Road so there is a scene over there, how do you find the Thai scene?

Be sure to also subscribe to the dubstep.fm podcast- killer mixes from many different DJ's, several of which are like three hours long! Also log onto getdarker.com and download some Hatcha and Crazy D Kiss FM shows- definitely get you acquainted with the culture proper!
And welcome!
