For People who can't automate NI Massive LFO

Post by aftee » Tue Jan 20, 2009 9:28 pm

Yeah, I know it's pretty simple and obvious, yet for some reason i've overlooked it..and I know a lost of people dont' know how to automate it and have to open multiple instances of the vst, which then ends up fucking with the sound and things of that matter...
Quite simple, when you record just use the rate knob instead of switching the rate in the sync because it won't pick that up...sure it won't be perfect, but you've got some more variety to your track

Could you or someone explain how to do this? Never touched the macro controls, not sure how to go about using them.

I find it OK automating the unsynced rate knob, but find it hard to get it sounding exactly how I want. Plus for some reason as midi it sounds on time then when i bounce it to audio it goes out..

Thanks in advance, big up the massive lfo automation problem solving massive.

I'm pretty sure you just right click the black box on the knob you want to affect and click Macro > Then whatever number.

that's what this thread solves...

doesn't really work if you've got any kind of portamento on your bassline.

sssssssshhhh! :o

I'd have to say there isn't one easier to learn than any other.... they mostly work in pretty much the same way. One piece of advise tho...dont try learning 5 at once! .. it'll save you alot of time in the long run. Also theres really no point in askin a Q like that on here seeing as everyone will just recommend wot they use!

havin said that...get either Massive or Albino 8) lol

LFO is inferior to ADSR anyway. use ADSR and link attack (and decay) to velocity.
