L2S001 - Release Date: 23rd March 2009

L2S001 is a 4 track ep from Label Boss Whistla.
This release sees Whistla showcase the new sound of UKG - Psychedelic Garage
While many names have (and are still) bounded around Psychedelic Garage has been the one that keeps cropping up over and over.
Born from the ashes of UKG and dissatifaction with how Dubstep has progressed, Psychedelic Garage has emerged as a fresh and exciting scene in the UK Underground.
Still with little acknowledgement from critics and promoters L2S's founding principle is to make Psychedelic Garage (also known as Detroit Garage & Future Garage) Available, Accessible and Affordable - The 3 "A"'s
To this end we are happy to give to you:

4 Tracks showcasing the depth and breadth of his sound, with beats ranging from 4 to the floor slammers to breaky rollers, and everything inbetween!

I made my first post just instantly after I saw the thread and only knew 420 lockdown by name, just checked the other ones on myspace and they're all fucking CLASSICS whistla!! HUGE big ups :D All fucking amazing tunes, SO stoked to have em!!

easily my favourite release of the past 12 months, without any doubt
four absolute classics finally hitting wax, can't even tell which tune I like most
