@jjamus yea nice vibes in this one but i agree with the other comment, the percussion is real nice but it needs something more added to it to keep it going.

Heres mine Soundcloud
Some nice synths and vocal chops in this one, id like to think its pretty much finished and want to send it off to be mixed down so any final thoughts appreciated! I think i need to filter out or take out the main synth you here from the start so theyre not constant all the way through. And is the sidechain a bit too much? Cheers!
I like what you got, I thought the vocals were well done and the arrangement was top notch. I don't think you need to take out that synth. Personally I really like it, and it works well with the sidechain. I would say for the second portion of the song just morph it a bit. Give a little something extra. Maybe a flanger or something like a gated ping pong effect to have it bounce around.

@Kontigobeats: I really like the way Desire builds and progresses. the arp is nicely done, maybe you could add an extra element to play off the arp and help the track progress further?

Again, very nice. Do you just shit tracks or what? You seem to have something new on a daily basis. I don't know what else you should really add to this. As it is it's got a very nice vibe, and it doesn't seem like it's finished so I'm not sure if you have any plans on variations later on in the track. What you have is excellent if that's just your first part of the track. I would agree that bringing in another sort of melody or something to play off the arp melody would take it a bit farther.

I do have a track on like page 4 or something, can't remember. Just something I've been working on for a few weeks that's bugging the hell out of me just because I'm having a hard time getting things from head to the paper so to speak.

However, the passed couple days I've been working on a remix for this remix competition. This track has pretty much taken up all my time the passed couple days. It's not dubstep, it's more hip-hop with dubstep elements. Since I do so much with dubstep I just felt more comfortable using stuff I knew. It's only 87 bpm, but the beat is 4x4 and is more a beat that I would use in a dubstep track. I do like how it sounds even at this slower bpm so I decided to use it. I decided to go with a reese bass patch that I used in another remix I did but this time I sidechained the hell out of it and dropped the LP cutoff almost completely to 0. What I ended up with was a nice low rising growl type sound in between each kick.

Soundcloud

I'll have to check into the competition rules and see if posting this on soundcloud is against the rules. So I'll leave it up until I find out if it's ok.

heres a call it "draft" of a track ive been working on (not that much working yet tbh)

its way too long atm since i just make made it without any structure to start with i just plain laid out an idea
it needs to be trimmed down alot as for now
from start its essentially just a long build up all the way to about 3:40

i think it has a bit of "house" feeling over it

listen to the whole thing if you can bare with it, otherwise just start listen from 1.49
would appreciate some constructive critiscsm

thanks alot in advance!

@JBE

nice! just a beautiful track
good work with that low sidechained bass, it sounds good,it could use some sub tho
track got really good at the "drop" at 3.10 feelt more "flow" and i think if that lasted longer it would be much better!
good work!

@CBK81 - maaaan! that started out as suuuuch a fineeeee track! the sweet feeling, melody, the vibe overall... the bassline going at 0.30-0.45... straight on! if you would have kept that same feeling as the intro it would be soooo good
really nice work on the subbass
very good mixing on the perussions, altho that snare is too "cool" for me but thats just a matter of taste, still very good production wise!

no expert so cant offer much advice, but wobble seems a bit generic and for the sake or something...also seems too loud. Goods vibes other then that though

@ move-ment
i agree it is generic. tho these "filthy" basses seems to have become even more generic, and yes youre right its a tad bit too loud
i was first thinking of making it a very very low and subby bass but im thinking that can get pretty boring quickly... so i decided to put it there, basically to not bore the listener, and tho the wobble is not the important part of the track
no need to be an expert to give feedback, all feedback is welcome. thank you :)

@movement-sounds like minimal tech house or somethin to that effect, sounds nice enough,im not a big house fan but could see people likin it,not bad work, though thought some of ur the samples comin through could ith adjusting

@Chee.man -nt my thing ur track, but did enjoy it,think you could do with a better arrangement, nice work tho

this is something i got workin on today, strugglin a touch with where i want the track to go,would love some feedback on this please

@redjuan - Really weird unusual beat, like.

@nacklewicket - Great breakdown!

@jbe - That Hip-Hop thing is quality... not the kind of thing I'd play, but the pads and beats work well with the vocal.

@imperial - mental tune! ha!

Here's one I've been kicking about today...

@JBE haha yea man ive just finished uni so got free time to work on beats now! Yea think i might bring something else in later in the track not sure what just yet though, cheers for the feedback.
listening to your remix now, sounding good man , i think that bass patch works well with it and the sidechaining or whatever you did works too, the sounds mesh together well.

Sup guys, all the stuff on here sounds really great, intimidates the amateurs

I've been doing live electro-looping, mixed with live drumset a microkorg, a few softsynths and occasionally some shitty vocals (never sung before in my life)

It's not dubstep but I uploaded a ton of semi-finished tracks to sound cloud as a way to archive and catogorize them, i will post a few ambient works here:
