Dave, 19, currently studying in Brighton... 8)

Interests include: politics, the environment, art, breakdancing.
I'm also a music obsessive, and far too promiscuous to stick within one genre alone.

Dubstep falls within the 'dark' side of my tastes (D&B, Dancehall, Raggacore, Metal),
but on the light side are things like O-S Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Jazz, and all that goodness.
I'd like to start producing someday but I haven't got any bloody software! haha

i'm Bart, Ghent, Belgium.
as far as popular music goes, i check breaks the most, dnb, hip hop, lots more.
apart from that, few few rock/singersong, more jazz, quite some classical music.

i'm not a dj (bedroom but i don't focus on it), i promote parties since '98, did lots
of interviews. together with two friends we've the longest weekly ('Steam') in Belgium.
i'm diggin this grime/dub for about two yrs now, it began with grime as i'm vv into mc-ing.

i plan to push dubstep and grime in future. on July 1st i've 'Biefstuk!' coming (meaning
beef-steak literally), with Target, JME, Alphman and Benga + Belgian talent (Mate and Grimelock
from this forum).

apart from that we're meeting up with some Belgian fans of the genre recently : Dice, Mate,
Dudeski, Bunzer0, Grimelock and me in order to push things forward together.. so u'll hear about us again :)

voila that's me

i intro'd myself in the official thread up top - but wtfever i'll do it again!

i'm katie mo and I live in the states - where in the states is up for debate, just call this period "transitioning". i like lots of shit, and have friends who like lots of shit. lived in bristol last year but didn't properly get into dubstep until this year (doh!) - better late than never though i suppose.

i usually work too hard and stay out too late - but fuck, its my one life and i'm going to live it.

heyas,

i'm lisa, better known as dj shiva to the US techno peeps. i live in indianapolis, IN in the US and have been djing techno (with brief diversions into dnb and broken beat) for over 11 years, producing for about 2-3 years (3 vinyl releases so far...yay!), and just generally being a music nerd my whole life. got the heads up on dubstep from some uk fellas on the blackoutaudio.co.uk forums and have been completely sucked in.

i also work for a non-profit environmental lobby organization (i am a professional tree hugger), read books like a fiend, and spend far too much time on the internet.

when i am not doing that, i hang out with my girlfriend and my cat.

that's me in a nutshell...but i am large...i contain multitudes... ;)

I'm Corpsey, I'm 41 with two wives and a dog that I treat like a kid, but a kid that's old enough and sexy enough to be my wife. I produce one dubstep tone continuously. I've been producing it for 9 years now, it started out as an accoustic ballad but recently I've added distorted bass and a sample of Bob Marley saying ''what?'' in an interview- with echo! I'm also a gabba DJ with two friends, one of whom is me and the other of whom is me too.
