Mostly I've seen this attitude here - " I am the real oldfag of the dubstep , I think every new popular artist sucks , dubstep shouldn't be famous etc."
What's wrong with famous artists, as mentioned above - Funtcase . Gorilla Flex is a really good track < My opinion .
I think it's good that dubstep is getting more famous ( More bigger events , more to talk about with more people )
I made this thread so people would tell what kind of things bothers them in dubstep ( As I mentioned the fact that everybody says "big up" all the time)
About the soundcloud qoute - What I tried to say is that people should do something new (especially the new artists) and forget that old datsik bass and invent something new and something what is made by them , not by following the "How to make datsik bass" threads , which are made tons already .
As for my age , my I'm 17 .

Sunshine to every one of you ;)

and it's such a basic philosphy, why do people have so much trouble with it

I dunno why I care cos i dont really a heavy listener of dubstep, more house and funky now, but i do hate it when on facebook or summat and people do have joe 'dubstep' bloggs as their name, why do people need to do that? i have never seen john 'heavy metal' smith or ralph 'techno' lauren.

ive noticed theres too much stuff with fuck all groove to it

i like filthy stuff and i like deep stuff and mellow and glitchy and whatever as long as its goodd, but it needs the groove ffs. went to the first dubstep night ive been to in ages the other week, and the halfstep thing just doesnt work without the groovey hihats or percussion or whatever, just doesnt have the pushing vibe that makes you want to dance. no fucking energy, no matter how dirty your bass is.

The point of the half time is so you have more space to cram in groove. A lot of this shit is like buying an extra large suitcase only to fill it with a sock and a bowtie.

The fact that it's killing Nu Breaks / Breakbeat - just look at Fabric club listings.
