i think that was just to add to the grim mood of the ending of that particular episode - each episode seemed to have a slow mo montage at the end showing people crying n shitfaust.dtc wrote:

meadows' best work has always been reliant on strong dialogue; be it for dramatical or comical purposes.
for four hours of television it just wasn't well written enough, any comedy (awful gadget/old bint storyline) just seemed lazy, skins-esque, and only put in to counterbalance some rape scenes.
