I love this 'big government' argument. The proportion of the economy which the American government runs is and always has been the same amount as any other developed country, it's just a different section of the economy, in Europe governments run healthcare, communications infrastructure and public transport and in America the government spends the same amount as other countries do on making countries nice to live in as America does on its defense budget, if not more. The way America spends its budget and always has been pure Keynesianism, which is a socialist economic model, just instead of roads and schools, the government spends money on tanks and guns to keep the economy going.

The American government already runs a very good and efficient healthcare plan for Vets, which proves the government can run a healthcare system, would like to replace that with the shitty private system too?

Why is it that the American government, per person, spends 2-4 times more than other developed countries on healthcare, yet you still have to pay thousands of dollars a year for basic coverage?

Also, why is it that this new breed of American right-wingers can't spell, punctuate or put a sentence together without name calling? That kind of stuff gives a bad name to real right-wingers.
