Gatefold promo, is that the full release or some white promo? other sites don't mention that so don't get it really...

My copy arrived yesterday (from Boomkat) and it's very much gatefold. Infact, it's seriously hot artwork. Not sure about the whole Promo thing on Chemical - they seem to list a lot of things as promos that don't look to me like promos at all.

I love this Ep, full of bangers and I don't mind paying 18 € for it, really. It's just..when I pay that amount of money for 4 tracks, I'd appreciate some downloadcard or a link or anything, so I don't have to convert them myself which is a pain in the ass for me.

I suppose this is not a bad idea really. I very much like the fact that Swamp is vinyl only, and I love holding the vinyl itself...but I also hate converting them to MP3s myself. I'm not gonna start calling for a digital release because that would be completely missing the point, but a download link for those that buy the vinyl? That kinda makes sense to me. I mean, the tunes on this release are good enough for me to want to listen to them on the train, on the tube, at work, on the way home - not just in the evenings! Greedy, I know.

Of course, the files would end up getting shared - but they will anyway eventually :(

Is there gonna be a Boddika album/CD thing on Swamp? I'm sure I heard that but I'm thinking I might have just made it up because I want it to be true?

Although it would be cool to listen to them on the train, to be fair rinse fm now has swamp on every thurs so they'll be in the recordings of those. And on a personal note i'm selling my CDJs and getting turntables mainly because of this label, so I'd rather there wasn't digi releases. just got 2727 through through the post today, just need something to play it on :m:

So I was listening to Soul What again last night and it struck me that the synth piano part bears some resemblance to Lovin' You by Minnie Riperton, at which point I had to stop listening. Mostly because the thing that most comes to mind when I think of that particular song is a scene from Jam by Chris Morris in which a fat woman in a tree sings it. Disturbing.

I'm hoping this doesn't ruin the tune for me.
