just watched the whole series in less than 24 hours... pretty riveting. the finale was a bit lukewarm imo but i'm looking forward to season 2. never read the books, so i dunno what is supposed to happen.

I thought Joffrey was a prick too, until the last episode. Warmed to him a bit when he offered that guy tongue or hands. Then when he says "my mother told me never to strike a woman" and has his boy do it instead - had me in stitches!!

I'm hoping that they end up killing Joffrey for being a tnuc, and tyrion takes over. Then he marries Daenarys and goes to war with the Ice giants whilst riding a dragon.
