I haven't been to a heads show in the uk? lol You're assuming you know anything about me. Spent 6 months in the UK over the past 7 years. In the most recent month i was in the UKin 2008, went to 16 shows including a DMZ show. Not saying I'm the most experienced UK party goer ever, but I got a fair taste of your scene in the times I was there. Also spent 3 months in UK in 2004 and another month in 99. I've spent time in your country and done quite a fair bit of party going. Brought quite a few of your best artists to the USA, and worked with many

It's the same as it is everywhere else. The more commercial the venue the more commercial the crowd. Under 18 brings in under 18 year olds. Quality of music doesn't magically equate to less drug useage. More mature crowds tend to be less spastic, not less intoxicated.

Really wish people would stop trying to define themselves by the music they listen to and the parties they attend. It's not an insult to you if people around you use drugs.
Be quiet.

What Trapeez is saying is 100% spot on.

You go to DMZ, yes, people are doing mdma, ketamine, weed, whatever else. Go to RAM perhaps, drug usage is higher.

Yes people still do drugs at raves. Decent Dubstep parties tend to have less though. Fact.

Been constantly raving for the past 6 years. I know how it works in this city.

Everyone in the US is just out to ruin everything anyway, wouldn't suprised me if someone did a fat slug of coke whilst someone who plays good music is on the decks. Idiots.

Can't really put it any better myself.

Pkay why can't you just accept you're wrong for once, you're trying to school me on a culture/scene that I live and breathe every day.

It's nothing to do with quality of music, defining yourself etc. Quite frankly I don't give a shit if people do drugs at the raves I go to, it doesn't bother me... I'm simply stating fact - dubstep raves that I go to have a less drug use than other EDM genres. F-A-C-T.

Not trying to school you on anything. You win the UK experience crown hands down. But british pride is a hillarious thing and I'm trying to get you to stop biggin up your scene for a moment and admit that people get high and go to see good music as much as they do when they go to see bad music.... namely because people in general get high.

The difference is the amount of posture from the crowd. The difference in a 21 year old on ket and a 30 year old on ket is fairly drastic. A 18 year old on meow and a 32 year old on coke are entirely different in appearance, but just as doped up.

For the record on the drum and bass thing, FWD @ the end was just as doped out as Hardware @ the end from my experience.

I'll stand back and let you and ashley commence with blowing each other now. Should take Ashley out for dinner, the way he jumped to defend you was sweet :p

I find what pkay is saying is pretty spot on tbh.

Jump-Up DnB raves have a horrible atmosphere compared to most other scenes. Just so aggy and testosterone fueled.

DMZ at Brixton Mass = weed/ket/mdma

Renegade Hardware at Area = weed/ket/mdma/coke x 10

Fact. Don't care how many months you've spent in the UK. I've lived here for 22 years lolz.

Illegal drugs make up 1 out of every 100 dollars spent in the world annually. Outside of energy and food there's not much more in this world we consume more of.

That's not even counting how much legal drugs are consumed.

drinking is not an illegal drug and is not factored into that equation
