no you weren't... as usual you're twisting things to get sympathy

have to agree that people are being a bit unfair about this. yeah it was a bit of a twattish thing to make the post in the first place but he's not been arrogant since and seems to be genuinely trying to help answer people's questions about what he does. most of the moaners don't seem to even have read most of what he's posted before jumping in with stupid claims like that it's a pyramid scheme

firky? never :6:
Yes, I lied about having liver cancer, badger. That's right, this letter first about the lesions is also a lie, I got the consultant proffessor to lie for me. Fucking crass idiot. I know you're not very intelligent, you have a track record of demonstrating that but I always thought you were more intelligent than this, sadly not.

You'd think on a forum where everyone supposedly shares a love for one thing would make people more friendly. To me it seems like everyone is only interested in boosting their own ego and when they dont like something or disagree they go off on a tangent and get all defensive. @ Firky im sorry that youve got/had cancer but i dont see the need to tell everyone about it on an internet forum, seems a bit strange and posting that letter is something that id never do incase people thought i was after sympathy. All incoming welcome, im growing tired of having to justify myself to argumentitive teenagers that like to feel big sat behing their computers.

+1 On the sandy bridge front. i5 2500k unlocked models are about £150 now, which with stock cooling will OC to about 4.2-5mhz. P.S: If you game, don't be fooled into spending the extra £100 for the i7 model, check the benchmarks, definitely not worth it.

Of course overclocking an unlocked i-processor means buying a p67 motherboard (at minimum) which is £100. But its worth it!.

Keep an eye on http://www.scan.co.uk/todayonly/index.aspx the offers change every weekday and its not uncommon to see bundle offers of CPU + Memory or CPU + Mobo go for £30-40 under the standard price.

Ah nice whan, i'll keep my eyes on that for future reference, but this was an insurance build after I trashed my old desktop, so not loads of flexibility. :W:

£5000 is like what, $8,000? Who the fuck pays $8,000 for a gaming pc? You could build a tower that could easily handle any game on the market at max settings for half that price.

Supercomputers live in air conditioned datacentres and are run by billion dollar corps or tech developers... yours is a relatively fancy PC, it's not a fucking supercomputer you massive bellend.

This thread is like saying you've got an F1 car because you put a £3k bodykit on a Nova.

Or that it's just a really powerful pc? >.>

I don't see the the necessity for the hate.

If you feel like he's bragging about his computer, leave the thread.

If you think he's lying about his income, don't take him seriously?

If you think he's trying to spam the forum with links, don't respond to the thread so the links get fewer hits?
