just want to interject that I love the Vancouver scene.

remember cruising through the record shops one day and coming across Taal Mala, Bias, Self-Evident...all good people. love the parties we've been to up there and hope to see more of the Lighta! crew at Shambhala this year.

nice part about living in Bellingham is that you're in the middle of Vancity and Seattle. hoping to make it up there this weekend for 2562 & DJG.

bring that shit to B-ham for a night!!

HxdB, will do.

caspa in vegas took a bit of a toll on the funds, but if nothing else, will be up there for the next dubforms or that excision party in february.

i was on my way here about 12:30 last friday, and was told it closes at 1am! whatsupwithat?!

im fresh to van [2 weeks!] - am itching to get to a serious show.

also, hooping is awesome - its hot chicks moving their hips! whats wrong with you, dude? : P
I dunno, broseph. I guess I'm just not down with that hippy-chick flavah flave.

But I am also totally against violence at parties. I was at a show a while back and two sketchbags actually started brawling on the dance floor. They eventually got kicked out, but the damage to the vibe was totally not cool. I was pretty out of it, so I suddenly felt pretty sketched out by the whole thing. The feeling was hard to shake. I just can't understand what would compel somebody to start that in such a positive, music oriented environment. Why were they even there if not to dance it up? I don't think I've been in a fight since elementary school.
