What you lot have to remember is Getdarker is a online source for everything 'dubstep'. It is the ONLY source that represents the WHOLE spectrum of the sound. All i see is people moaning about tear out and brostep but yet these guys are by far biggest and most popular dj/producers in the scene so alot of you must be going to there gigs giving them more exposure..putting money in there pockets.

Getdarker is probably the main reason the deeper, darker sound is coming back round again now as we are pushing that more then anyone or anything else. I remember when i 1st got invovled with Getdarker, me and distance done a set... no one knew who we were. I mean we were only 2 of no more then 10 dj/producers in the world that helped build this scene. I think you need to take a step back and appreciate what Getdarker have done and not cut it down because it has 1 video of skrillex (like it or not is by far the biggest name in 'dubstep)

If you wana see a change then do something about it and support the deeper darker stuff. ( Big thanks to those that do)

I'd like to add some closure on this. (Not sure why im giving an explination, but im happy to do so).

I had a VIDEO interview scheduled with Skrillex, which has been re-scheduled....PLEASE dont shoot me down yet..... - perhaps consider what a great discussion would have been. Arguably the biggest "dubstep" artist of today by popularity - and to ask him directly, his views and comparison's to the UK sound....to then discuss the sound that GetDarker is passionate about....and perhaps more importantly, where he views the 'genre' is heading.

As this was re-scheduled; we we're offered this video exclusively (almost as an apology) for the late re-arrangement.

We took two views:
1. GetDarker does't include anything of Skrillex, yet he's a major part of 2011's dubstep (irrespective of your views, agreement - its a Fact)...
2. Eager viewers wanting to see the exclusive video; will be forced to trip over other content, generally our UK side.
(perhaps to our pureist fans, it was a bad move - but i still stand by it).

Reading comments of "selling-out" I find very dissappointing; we could have sold out years ago, and again very recently. We haven't. We continue to remain 100% independent. And posting ONE article (in 9 years) which isnt well-received isn't a bad track record.

For those who know me persoanlly, or our regular viewers - are well aware of mine and the teams area's of dubstep that we're passionate about...and I can assure you we will CONTINUE to push this area.

Never saw problems with Skrilli being on GD tho, they've had circus before, just don't tune in if you don't want to, don't get the fuzz about it ha I'll tune in for the jokes of reading. But I don't really see why anyone is complaining, maybe someone should give a list of all the ppl they had there then lot's of u would shut the fuck up

the selling out is stupid people have to accept that Skrillex is part of the dubstep i dont like his music but it doesnt mean a website who does it selling out like someone said its their website they can do want they want. Plus has dubstep sold is such a long argument that no one cares anymore what dubstep is in my opinion

Yeah I'm actually on board with this now. Would put to rest a lot of the confusion concerning Skrillex's refusal to label his own music (which cleverly attracts only more attention).

yeah i think it would be interesting to see what he thinks of dubstep as a whole and how he thinks he fits into it etc...
