Naw I'm with you there, definitely remember spending hours getting all the little gems so I could get access to the bonus levels!

By far my favourites were FF7 and FF9, character development was incredible.

Ape Escape was pretty solid too, as was Twisted Metal....

Had Rayman on PC, it was one of my favourites because there was always something new, and I knew there was no way I'd collect all those cage things...

Rayman
Brave Fencer Musashi
Vandal Hearts
Final Fantasy Tactics (arguably the best FF game ever made IMO)
Twisted Metal 2
Tobal No. 1 was awesome just because it was one of Squaresoft's launch games and came with a preview of FF7.
Megaman X4

anyone ever get aeris's final limit break?

anyone ever try to morph the Ruby Weapon? There was this rumor that if you morphed the ruby weapon it dropped some item and you could rezz aeris.. lol.

edit: more questions-->

did you lot kill ozma?

how did you kill the final enemy (cant remember the name of her) in FF8?

I collected all the cards and turned the majority into items, one of the rare cards turned into these things called Holy wars which made you invulnerable for some time. only thing that sucked was since you were not getting hit your limits were not coming around but thats why you would cast auras on yourself.

- Yes. It was awesome while you could use it.

- No. I didn't hear the rumour either.

- Yes.

- I remember this fight being really easy, though with FF8 I never got my characters too far over level 20 courtesy of Diablos + Encounter-None

you could turn encounters off? wth?

for me it was hard because my guys were I think in the high 70's or 80's when fighting towards the end. or maybe even in the 90's. but in FF8 as you know, the creatures level as you do, so it was fucking hard, hence having to use those holy war items.

It was an optional GF so you might not have had him. You had access to him early on in the game and that was the best time to acquire him also, at higher levels the fight with Diablos was one of the most difficult in the game.

fuck me, i didn't think anyone else had ever played that game! i used to play it all the time, it was straight up silly. multiplayer was a lot of fun.
alll about the multiplayer- single player was pretty shit. I still have the disc here, I get laughed at everytime I've tried to get someone to play it with me now though :(

My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

Never heard of that roumor, i think someone is pulling your leg. ;)

I did, but getting to ozma was the most fun part. I loved the chocobo side quest in ff9.

I was easy, with the junctioning system of ff8 you only had to extract the right spells from the right places. ;)
