A appreciate everyone that's digging Biome's stuff. But please, you are wasting nominations. I mean if it were December 2010, I think the moderators could cut some slack.
But Biome has been releasing since 2008. He simply doesn't qualify for best new artist...

Just a re:note: best new Label / Producer is for labels and producers who's first release ever was between 1st Jan 2011 and 31st December 2011. If it falls outside this they are not classed as new for this award.

Classic examples so far are:

Best New Producer: Commodo - first release 2009 / Biome - first release 2007/8 / TMSV - first release 2010 / DJ Madd - first release 2008 /

Best New Label: Get Darker - first release 2009

These are some i've seen posted and am only making this post so that some of the new labels and producers can get your votes.

some great new labels this year, niteshade inc / mindstep / orientis - amongst others

Each with equally great new producers.

Also it would make more sense to vote for something which has been released not a dubplate, the DSF awards are a great boost for up coming producers and labels along with labels that have had releases this past 12months. Keep within those confines and we can highlight some great music and producers coming though as well as recognising those that are established had have helped lay the foundation.

im not the all seeing eye, but its based on when the label started. If they started as a digi label then 2 years later released a vinyl it doesn't become a new label just because they changed format does it. I mean didnt some of the comps have exclusive tracks that could be bought as singles in a digital format from juno and the like?
