yeah - just in a different house

great thing about the top bit is you can take it off and you've got instant deck raising surface if you wanted to set it up on a normal table/desk in a house party or wherever

for cleaning purposes i can't recommend these things enough

unlike the carbon brushes that do work but often don't do much other than clean the surfance these things dig deep. it's made of a rubber substance that feels like blutack and gets all the gunk out of grooves, can then be washed under the tap to clean it, and can be reused almost indefinitely. other rolling vinyl cleaners have a kind of tape on that needs replacing but this is far better and using adhesive tape to clean records doesn't feel like a great idea

think mine was about £40 new on ebay a couple of years ago which is relatively expensive but well worth it imo if you can find them. they seem to have gone out of stock again seeing as no ebay sellers have them. they weren't available for years and years and people were buying up used ones because they still did the job

The brushes and pads do nothing but move the dust into one pile which then cant removed properly, the rollers sound pretty good though might have to cop some if possible.

I've had it that way for a long while and I haven't had the money to buy new decks (mine got fucced, long story)...is there a big chance of the vinyls being badly damaged? :u:
They should be OK, one of the main problems with storing records that way is getting dust permanently entrenched into the grooves. They'll proabably be OK but I would definitely store them vertically from now on if I were you!
