RIP CMJ aswell, my favourite member of Test Match special (along with Blofeld)- sad times in cricket.

Also, Ouch NZ- brutal.

I just went to go see what the score was and SA had already beaten NZ by and innings.
Going to be tough battling back from this.

McCullum, Watling and especially Brownlie made the inevitable result a bit easier to bear. At least the cameras were picking out loads of hotties in the crowd.

Good point.
Chances are I'll organize a sign for a day that never happens.

you'd think Tony Greig was a saint with the television hagiography here
bullshit
an opportunist who got alongside the rich & influential
and bagged his adopted home at every opportunity
no loss

every test & 20/20 here lately another young quickie steps up
no spinners of note
but watch out England

Actually cannot wait for back to back ashes this year, all of my family live in Aus so it's a fiercely competitive time for us. I'm not particularly worried tbh 2 massive holes for the Aussies to fill with Hussey and Ponting both retiring. I agree that there are some decent young fast bowlers coming through the ranks but I don't know if they will have the experience to deal with the pressure of the ashes. Hoping that we get a good summer in the UK so no matches are affected by rain.

That is indeed going to be a cracker of a series.

Its hard to tell really- a lot depends on how well clarke plays but we've got to be favourites.

I don't like it when we're favourites. :(

Got tickets for the 5th day at trent bridge so hopefully there's a nice flat pitch there...

those are my feelings from a different perspective

looks like Haddin's going to india beforehand, perhaps primarily as a batsman
new bloke Aaron Finch might make the transition from 20/20 don batsman
Watson's losing his all-rounder tag because he breaks down too often bowling...probably means he wont become captain later
Michael Hussey might finally replace his brother if he replicates 20/20 form for Oz vs SL

otherwise, Warney made a prick of himself the other night picking on Marlon Samuels in a domestic 20/20,
carrying on like a bigman with the protection of a Melbun audience
would've like to see him carry on like that in W.I.
& glad he didn't become Oz captain after Waugh

Can't wait for this test to begin tomorrow against NZ.
I've got tickets for Saturday and maybe Sunday depending on the game.
Hell maybe even take half of tomorrow of.

Going to be a good one.

Good 1st innings under Giles for England :)

Bell played some fucking sweet shots earlier, hopefully the bowlers can follow up later!

if we lose the one day series as well that'd just be fucking humiliating, already bad enough with the tests lol

Jizzman, are you exclusively an India fan or will you support England against other teams?
