Fresh off shelling down our Face / Off party last weekend with our good friends at Last Planet, the kid Freeza Chin steps up with his “Warm Up” mix

We are not going to lie, Freeza made this mix as a promo leading up to the event but because we were all really busy we didn’t put it up until now. (Shrugs) We are our own bosses so we get away with things like that.

None the less Freeza sets a vicious pace deftly mixing some fierce Grime, Rap and 140 ish Bpm party beats together to get you hyped up for whatever task you need psyching up for.

Six! I can't believe we're on six! This time around I explore the 80-100 bpm range for a while before moving on to a fresh crop of beautiful future bass tunes. The entire mix steadily progresses in tempo, but the energy of it rises and falls, depending on the tunes. I hope you enjoy this one as much as the others. Please share with your mates if you do!

This week on KONGKAST, we head back East to our home town of Hong Kong, to check out who we think is one of the local up and coming deejays to watch - ANADONIC (Perth / Australia / Hong Kong).

Originally from Perth, Australia, Anadonic have been based in Hong Kong since 2010. With his love for all things music, he quickly fell in love with what Hong Kong had to offer in terms of underground electronic music scene, particularly the bass heavy nights put on by the likes of Kongkrete Bass and Heavy HongKong.

Not long after his endeavors into the Hong Kong deejay scene, Anadonic's knowledge and passion for bass music was quickly noticed by the founder of HEAVY Hong Kong. Since middle of 2012, Anadonic found him self performing at different spectrum of Bass music, including Dubstep, Juke, Footwork and of course, Drum & Bass. In the short period of time, he is seen supporting the HEAVY Hong Kong local events as well as support for regional crew such as Bay Beats Club (India), as well as the likes of Tes La Rok, Dub Phizix and Sabre.

On the show this week I’ve the greatest of pleasure in welcoming Ontal.

THE SHOWCASE
As their debut 12″ Output EP edges ever closer on our Darkfloor Sound label (early April) we had to get the Serbian duo of Boris Noiz and Darko Dekode in for something special. What I have is 50 minutes of sharp, industrially textured rhythmic noise that is both intense and stunning.

Formed in November 2011 and influenced by numerous music genres, their sound can be described as an uncompromising, hard and intense assault. Breathing new life in the industrial strains of techno and the darker realms of the dancefloor and mind.

Already receiving support and praise from Surgeon and Perc this duo are one to watch. The attention to detail in their sound is quite something. Are you ready for the brutal battering contained within?

Their Output EP (DRKFLR002) will be released shortly on limited 12″ vinyl (x200) and digital formats.
