Well according to a few outlets, an injured Arab man has since been questioned in hospital. But when the presidents starts using lines such as
individuals responsible 'will feel full weight of justice'
I get nervous for the middle east.

Conspiracy theorists are closer and closer to fundamentalists every year as the net's become more socialized. They don't welcome peer review. They consider criticism war. Even more ridiculous is the realm of self-publishing. You tell them that their entire argument is based on personal research, and they reply..."....I'm an author with 5 ebooks on Amazon. "

I'm done with this over sensitive place that just wants to complain about shit.

If I would have posted a link with a warning, you lot would ALL had clicked it and then STILL complained.

Fuck this place.

Its important to separate the tin foil squad from anti-authoritarians. The first group usually present interesting ideas ( most are easily broken apart, some are great though). The second group just shout down ALL media, and ALL government responses, which is basically like putting their heads in the sand, because they project their own insecurities into whats happening in the world.

You don't think a little warning would be appropriate for images of dismemberment? I know what you mean about people clicking things labelled NSFW then moaning still as I've been warned myself despite adding that extra layer. At least then you can say it was their choice to view it though.

to those looking to embed whatever they want in this subforum; this is a global audience of people coming to one web community. Which means that people are sensitive and insensitive invariably by a wide range of context. This also means that certain images will impact differently.

A 1000pix jpg of someone without a leg, isn't an experience anyone wants without warning. this is regardless of where its posted elsewhere on media outlets. we're not 4chan. have a bit of consideration please.

of course, if we do get complaints, as was the case here, the problem will be removed as soon as a moderator gets to it.

the gory image rule has been in place since 2009.

yeah I don't think any of that is unreasonable. that picture is pretty heavy, posting without even a warning was a bit short sighted. anyone who really wants to see it can find it elsewhere without much difficulty

I think that's really unfair to anti-authoritarians. You're painting with a very broad brush.
