Well I mean the acoustic guitar playing ppl that sit around campfires singing Rodriguez or bad covers of Bob Marley.
You get your percentage of ppl that are actually really talented guitarists & musicians but they are totally overshadowed by the wankness of it all.

It's like a culture of hippies that look down on Psytrance hippies.
Sit on the grass in a park on a Sunday afternoon listening to 4 guitars strumming, some lady wailes in the background whilst the spectators eat cumin cheese and drink red wine.

tbh honest it's mostly people that take themselves and the music waaaaaaaaaaay too seriously (regardless of the type of music) that irk me. like the "edge for life" (read: til college/21) kids in hardcore; or the ones that go "this is not REAL *insert genre here*" with every given opportunity like there's some sort of i like thing trophy just waiting for them. but the absolute worst are the ones that give others shit for not being into the real stuff, and when they do start jocking the real shit they're all "ugh what a poser"

i talk a lot of shit on hardcore and punk kids because i hung around these people more i guess. never got caught up in scene bullshit though, always seemed kinda dumb to me. it's funny seeing a lot of those people who were all like "electronic music is not REAL music" now making idm/ambient/future garage (which, obviously, is REAL electronic music)
