-------first started listening to dance music during his formulative college years. Upon moving to Bournemouth in 2000 for University, he got heavily involved with the clubbing side of things, purchasing his first decks in 2003 and beginning to play the trance/hard house sound that was prevalent at nights such as Slinky, Oblivion and Trilogy.

The relentless synth riffs, snare drum rolls and screeching female vocals eventually began to get tiresome, and a chance listen to the Stanton Warriors seminal Stanton Sessions mix album made ------ realise there was more to life outside of 147bpm 4/4.

----- slowly began to get into breaks, through nights at the Consortium Club in Bournemouth, as well as spinning at smaller nights such as 5ive at the Fruit Bar. In late 2003 he became resident at the now defunct Trancendance nights in Windsor, spinning an eclectic mix of progressive, techno and breaks during highly praised warm up sets.

A move away from the coast brought him more into the London club scene, and a residency at the legendary Sunday afternoon party Norq! cemented his position as one of the rising stars of breakbeat. More recently, -----has travelled further afield, snaring gigs abroad in events such as Breakage in Cape Town, and Nucleus in New York.

His style is defined by sets loaded with chunky drums, funky melodies and filthy basslines, all stitched together with an energetic mixing style.

Polar Inertia is a hazy and oracular entity, that positions itself as a complex faction whose work is influenced by the sci-fi mythology surrounding techno music.

Since its creation, Polar Inertia multiplies various artistic collaborations, which are gradually incorporated in the thick fog that conceals dissimulate the exact nature and extent of its activities. Beyond the music and the records, the members of Polar Inertia are also the authors of texts, photographic works, printed artworks and specific live performances for different context.

They have often been invited to contribute to various revues, editions or art books. Their course of creation thus takes the direction of a polymorphic artistic process, bound to evolve in various fields of contemporary creation.

This is Fractal. I'm in it for the game changers, the tear droppers, the soul lifters and the bar breakers. To me, each song is a journey, and I'm here to take you on quite the crazy one, if you're up for it that is.

As far back as my memories go, music has been there for me. To move me, to inspire me, to wake me up, to put me to sleep, to fill my mind and heart with the all encapsulating awe that I believe us humans are entitled to. Music has always kept a smile on my face, good times and bad. Whether it be on a walk down the street with headphones, or in a giant field at a festival, music has reminded me why I am alive. I have dedicated myself to making sure that the people of this earth always have access to the experience of awe. I create places of love and wonder for people to go to escape, places they could only have dreamed of. As sonic alchemists, our duty is to keep love and inspiration in the hearts of our race, changing lives for the better at every opportunity, giving back to the world that has blessed us with so much. To me, music is about revolution and unity through love. That being said, I truly feel that I have already achieved my goal. Everything after this point is just a bonus!

2) Although you totally want to wax poetic and use big words, restrain that urge as much as possible. Especially if you don't normally use a lot of these big words IRL.
