just got this yday . . .
awesome lp . . all dubstep heads need to be on this IMO
huge respect to pinch for taking the dubstep sound forward to a full vocal "song" based album . . it has a real feel of vision and depth....with Pinch's signature deep beats, atmosphere's and BASS as the backdrop for a diverse spectrum of vocal styles . .

what really gets me about this LP is how this could be the release to break dubstep to people not necessarily drawn to the half step dancefloor sound . . . . i can hear influences from dub/reggae/deep house/nu jazz/techno/downtempo and people into the top artists in those field's need to give this a listen ....slow burner like the 1st burial lp i hope in terms of publicity but word is gonna spread about this ........

To me, this album is dubstep perfection. The intricacy of the production, the choice of sounds, the mood, the subs, the flow, the structure - Pinch, you are an inspiration.

Great stuff.. got this last Tuesday and haven't stopped listening to it. It's been a competitive week - this, the new Burial (sweet) and 'Box Of Dub 2'... oh lordy.

The first half floored me. The rest is sinking in nicely. I am feeling at the moment that From The Shadows was a more progressive outing though. Not to say Underwater Dancehall disappointed me, but it wasn't the revolutionary head expansion I was expecting.
This is not after a justifiably huge amount of listens however.
