i mean yeah theres the obvious character assassination and trying to portray the victim as a thug, which you see in every one of these incidents, but ultimately, it's completely irrelevant. no one deserves to die, regardless of whether theyre into "hard narcotic use and dealing" or not
zimmerman pursued trayvon even after being told not to by the police
trayvon was unarmed and posed no credible threat to zimmerman
zimmerman has repeatedly shown that hes violent, threatening both his exwife and girlfriend by pointing guns in their faces
Trayvon while on top of Zimmerman struck Zimmerman in the nose hard enough to open a wound on the exterior of the nose, as well as smashed Zimmerman's head into the concrete hard enough to open wounds on the back of Zimmerman's head. That is a credible threat. Deal with that reality. I don't know if you've ever been in a real fight, but from the way you discuss things, I get the sense that you haven't. You've never been hit hard enough to really know what that feels like. I've received some blows that I felt posed an existential threat! Like one more and I'm gone.
People don't deserve to die for any reason, even old age or disease. Trayvon was a thug, likely was dealing, used hard narcotics, fought for pleasure, and used, bought, and or sold illegal firearms. That is the type of person he was. That suggests an attitude towards the world as well as his likely disposition when confronted that night. That type of behavior lead him to be thrown out of school as well as out of his own home. I'm confident that Trayvon was on the way to becoming another statistic in America, incarcerated or burned into dust at the county morgue. It is a shame, a real shame.
But, I absolutely do believe Zimmerman was legally justified in shooting Trayvon that night. It is very disappointing that you would advocate the removal a fellow human being's right to self defense. If you want to be a victim of violence, if you want your future wife, your children to be victims of violence, those that you're charged to protect, that is your prerogative. It is fucking twisted, but it is you and your life, I leave you to make your choices that affect you and your family, but when you try to remove rights from other people, it is disrespectful, disgraceful. I'll vehemently speak against you, and work to thwart that agenda.
Zimmerman did nothing wrong, legally. Again, deal with that fact.
seemed like there was a lot of manipulated evidence in the trayvon martin case tbh, the whole thing stank of lies and cover-up. loads of changing stories on zimmermans side while argument from martins side was pretty consistent throughout
btw re. martins "character assassination":
well firstly drug use and possession is absolutely no reason to condemn anyone for anything. also where are u getting "fought for pleasure from"?
http://www.buzzfeed.com/ellievhall/tray ... d-horsebac (apologies for shit website but first one that came up l0l)
the stuff i see here is not dissimilar to any kid with divorced parents and an unstable home life. also his mum bought a gun but let him play with it asfar as i can see
but the main point is, why was any of that published and relevant to the case at hand? it was not. if youre going to condemn martin for his past, then why not take a look at zimmermans too, which was surely much MUCH relevant? arrested for violently resisting police, accused of child molesting, beat up his ex wife, threatened his ex wife with a gun, history of racism... and hes still getting in trouble with the law now afaik...
trayvon may have been a messed up kid from divorced familiy who was into drugs etc, but zimmerman was a guy with previous criminal record who was into beating women, molesting children and threatening people with guns??
which to you is the greater indicator of instability?
also regarding those head injuries.... no one knows for a fact WHEN they occurred. were they during the fight? after martin was dead? did martin attack zimmerman after having a gun pulled on him in the confrontation? what would u do if someone 2 feet away from you pulled the gun on you and was probably spouting racist murder stuff at you
imo if u stalk someone with the intent to intimidate them or injure them, and then u get ur ass kicked, then u deserve the ass kicking
its _not_ self to defence to go shoot the person kicking ur ass, if ur the one who instigated the whole situation

^on point
The strength of the working class lies in organization. Unless the masses are organized, the proletariat is nothing. Organized—it is everything. Organization means unity of action, unity in practical activity.

Why are you not outraged by this guy's death?
Probably because we don't experience much of an issue between white communities and the police as we do with black communities and the police.

The Gateway Pundit can now confirm from two local St. Louis sources that police Officer Darren Wilson suffered facial fractures during his confrontation with deceased 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Wilson clearly feared for his life during the incident that led to the shooting death of Brown. This was after Michael Brown and his accomplice Dorian Johnson robbed a local Ferguson convenience store.

Or that he was falling forward after/while being shot. Shooters are trained to shoot until the threat is neutralized. That can take many rounds, and why handguns are designed to hold 16/17 rounds. People don't just drop immediately when shot. Especially when they are high/drunk. I understand much of your firearms experience likely comes from film/tv/video games.
NWJ I really have to call bullshit on this argument as well. MB was 35 feet away from the cop when he died. 35 feet. Approximately 10 yards from the cop. This means that, if MB was charging towards the cop, he was even further away when he started running. Maybe 20-30 yards. This gave the cop time to react and fire 6-8 shots at MB before he reached the distance of 35 feet. If you have time to fire 6-8 shots, not to mention the 2-3 seconds it would have taken him to complete the last 10 yards, you can spare a couple of seconds trying to hit his legs so that he doesn't die.
The argument that people continue running after they're shot (except in movies and video games) is what's bullshit. If you are shot in the leg even once, you're not gonna be able to continue "charging", and if you're shot in the leg twice, or 6-8 times, no chance will you be able to continue charging.
If you're shot in the arms or upper body (which is where he was shot), then I can see how he might continue "running" or (more likely) stumbling forward, but since the cop had a decent amount of time to spare before shooting having to resort to shooting MB three times in the fuckin face, he really shoulda just gone for the legs first imo.
Any argument that rests on "I have real world experience, you've just watched movies" is suspect imo.
(all of this assumes MB was even charging at the cop)

Maybe 2-3 minutes after, or if you got shot straight through your knee cap (unlikely).
Don't underestimate adrenaline

I dunno, i'd think if you got hit in a nerve, muscle, or tendon, you won't be able to walk properly, nevermind "charge". Just from a mechanical perspective.
But i could be wrong

TGP has been cited by Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Drudge, The Blaze, Mark Levin, FOX Nation and by several international news organizations.
Clearly a source of utmost reliability.

I got hit by a car when I was a teen, it wasn't too serious but I couldn't walk for a bit, the night it happened I felt better than fine and stupidly refused to go to the hospital, things happen like that and your body just goes into beast mode for a bit. I'm sure similar things have happened to other members on here

For your pleasure.
To confirm, though, it is your belief that the officer did not receive an injury during the attack by MB?
