They only disabled new members, because wub use to delete all the spam, and other mods can't be fucked to do it now.

Just went through the big up list and counted off at least 75 ninjas who are active on at least a post/week basis. After 75 I gave up. That's a pretty good number tbh, we're too hard on ourselves.

I did a load of the deleting spam but it comes in short bursts so the forum would get full really fast, then get deleted when a mod saw it first. Granted that was Wub quite often, but I did a load of it too.

It's really shit having to sit on the site all day, not doing anything except refreshing to delete spam. It's also not practical for us do it. Working for a living is kinda more important than an internet forum where all people seem to do is whine about you.

I do give a shit about this place, some of my best mates have come from this forum, I know 10 or so people from here that I go to nights with regularly and more we see when we're out. I still actively search out and listen to dubstep, I get dubplates cut from people who I only know through this forum and wouldn't have been given their music without it. I listen to mixes posted by other members and find out about loads of new music I would have missed without this forum.

That's why i accepted being a mod and do it as well as I can given my free time constraints.

But fuck it, all i get from this is to sit at home wanking about the power I have over you.

Also mods, please know that any criticisms I make are almost entirely in jest, theres a reason this place has been my preferred time waster for close to four years.
