serious though, the reason i made this observation is coz im from a place where its just how ur brought up to be chattin street slang.

And im not talkin about the people who have always talked with slang influences, I'm talkin about the ones who probly didn't even know these words like a year ago

So it just seemed in my head like the reason they were catching on is dubstep.

one of my favourite simpsons scenes ever! it's the sitcom on pbs about a 'loveable bunch of english soccer hooligans' isn't it?

it means they get away with using the word 'wanker' at 6pm in the evening on british tv, which i'm pretty sure no-one would be allowed to do normally.

Spent my early teens in Milton Keynes >> rampant cockney.
Pretty much everyone here in Basingstoke >> rampant cockney.

Small villages still have a bit of rural to them, but the young people are mostly kids of ex-Londoners (as you say)
and don't hear anything else spoken around them. Watching Eastenders only pushes the 'commuter belt' effect.

I find humans communicating facinating. Particularly between people who are half a world away from me. Sometimes I'll go to the mall and stalk other groups or people who are not like me and study them, like Jane Goodall.
