do you work for nero publicity? because if you do, this sort of bleeding heart commentary isn't helping nero one bit.DirtyThievingMongrels wrote:ok lads, time to set the record straight......there are some serious haters, trying pass of well articulated but totally unrequired criticism.
to those of you who are producer/djs, or indeed are highly fanatical about the possibilty of at some stage earning a crust of making and exhibiting music. You are in the minority.
Put as a simple analogy, you "haters" whilst knowledgable in the methodology of music production, are the equivelant to Skoda, talking to Ferrari about how to win next years constructors championship. Yeah, Skoda can talk when it comes to an occasional ralley but can fuck right off when it comes to Formula One.
If you are fortunate enough to possess the carefully guarded secret of how to make a dancefloor smasher that keeps both the unbeknown raver in the crowd happily bouncin for 8 hours and at the same time combine that with a rhythm only translatable by Miles Davis then crack on kid.
But you haters no, as well as i know, you're just hating because that chinstroke shite you make at home, that pile of poop you bleed your heart into because your girlfriend left you again and leaves you in such a state of emotional turmoil that you can only make complex records to match you bi-polarised personality.....yeah, well those records are for you, and a few of your mates......
Nero's tunes however are for the most important people of all.....the dancefloor public, who didn't get into dubstep for an education, wasn't to express there colonial root heritage or indeed meant to change the wold.....they were made, and would seem effectively used to rinse out a dance floor.
If you think a load of people on a dancefloor stroking there chin is what its all about, then use your energy and time to promote that apsect of it.Don't use it to inadevrtanly critique something that has musical and commercial dynamics your futile brain refuses to accept.
The people hating on this are hating because they wouldn't and don't think this tune should have been remixed. Try reading the thread dude. We all wouldn't remix this tune!DirtyThievingMongrels wrote:again, some halfwhit wanting to breakdown the reasons as to why NERO's of MJ Cole's Sincere is somehow unsatifactory.....
Nice to see how you can identify how the very records you hate are made, but haven't heard anything about how you would have remixed the record yourself....
Sat there, stroking your chin when using your keyboard to write your awful critique.....also sat there stroking your shaft when really, you wanted to "make it big" with your "different" compositions.
SHAFTSTROKING GENIUS!

Oh shut up you gimp! He's a mate of mine and Rob Sparx's, he takes an interest in what we are up to production wise and happens to disagree with some people's views on this thread.hackman wrote:stop being a coward, post with your original username

Quite a good analogy for a poor point of view......same could be said for any record....maybe we should exile remixers to another part of world. I know, Guantanamo Bay has got a lot going for it, we can even start up a school for you izan's who haven't cottoned on to the fact that your opinions are obsolete, factually in accurate...but none the less entertaining all the same.....bandshell wrote:nakedlunch wrote:Trying to Remix Sincerebandshell wrote:

isn't all this squabbling and hatred the reason why drum and bass fell on its arse.....too ashamed to be a man and say...yeah, thats a commercial tune and i like it.....or not my cup of tea but can see why people like it! just outright non-sense talk.....they're all bitches.....sucking on poisonous udders of hate filled titty juice.....wincing as the sour taste of a decade of bad milk flows through the pouros vains of another musical izan!!!!deamonds wrote:his tunes are good though, very goodRob Sparx wrote:lol if I was gonna create a new username and didn't want ppl to know dont you think I'd pick a different name from Dirty Thieving Mongrels? No, the reason D'n'B died is because music became templated so any one braincelled being with a laptop could make it by just filtering white noise before every drop.... and that's how i feel this music is causing dubstep to be.DirtyThievingMongrels wrote: isn't all this squabbling and hatred the reason why drum and bass fell on its arse.....too ashamed to be a man and say...yeah, thats a commercial tune and i like it.....or not my cup of tea but can see why people like it! just outright non-sense talk.....they're all bitches.....sucking on poisonous udders of hate filled titty juice.....wincing as the sour taste of a decade of bad milk flows through the pouros vains of another musical izan!!!!
its like if the tunes doesn't prick up einsteins ears, then the producer should be lined up and shot!!!! man, its like a wobble holocaust!!! LOL
That's where the problem is then, I think you'll find that Nero consciously make music for people to dance to, ie it's dance music.steshine wrote:

i think nero is true to form as is burial, bar 9, rob sparx, dmz.....everybody....they don't set out to write a smasher, they just naturally do.steshine wrote:No, the reason D'n'B died is because music became templated so any one braincelled being with a laptop could make it by just filtering white noise before every drop.... and that's how i feel this music is causing dubstep to be.DirtyThievingMongrels wrote: isn't all this squabbling and hatred the reason why drum and bass fell on its arse.....too ashamed to be a man and say...yeah, thats a commercial tune and i like it.....or not my cup of tea but can see why people like it! just outright non-sense talk.....they're all bitches.....sucking on poisonous udders of hate filled titty juice.....wincing as the sour taste of a decade of bad milk flows through the pouros vains of another musical izan!!!!

In response to your earlier post about saying "no says how they would remix it" well i wouldn't have tried to make in a bass bin blower, i would've done a retrospective 2step kinda mix with a funky bass line, not a wobble electro thing..... but my idea is too similar to the original and wookie remix... so fuck it, i wouldn't have bothered, and neither should nero.
