BASS MUSIC TAKEOVER !

Since the launch of the Grassroots Dubstep Competiton at the beginning of August 2009 Carbon Logic has experienced a total bass music takeover !

• 8653 unique visits from over 100 countries.
• Top contributors - UK, USA, Germany, Canada, Portugal, Poland, Australia, Ireland, Bulgaria, Italy.
• 38960 page views.
• 321 tracks uploaded.
• There are now over 450 tracks in line for the competition.


COMPETITION EXPANDS ITS HORIZONS:

In response to the sheer quality and quantity of uploads Carbon Logic has expanded its plans in order to showcase a broader selection of outstanding new bass music and will now be releasing a12 track digital Compilation LP alongside the Grassroots Dubstep EP.

Dubstep has mutated, crossed borders and exponentially spread its wings.
But what is happening in the bedrooms, garages and homebuilt studios of bass music producers today ?
The Grassroots Dubstep Panel, headed up by NICK ARGON, aims to take a snapshot of the splintering scene of dubstep, bass music and beyond as we hit 2010.

Profits from sales of the Grassroots Dubstep releases will be donated to LOVE MUSIC HATE RACISM.

WHAT WILL GRASSROOTS DUBSTEP SOUND LIKE ?

We estimate the Judges will filter over 500 tracks down to 3 for the EP and 12 for the COMPANION LP.
So what will it sound like ? As an idea of what they might be selecting this November, we've selected ten tracks currently on heavy rotation at the carbon logic HQ.

Hello there, i see that you and you judge's have been some busy people, you seem that have really got a good plan lined up for the winner ect, shows, events ect (aftermath) with some good rewards aswell so big up!

and the numbers you have generated over this short period of time is just excellent,

So big up you defo have put the work and effect in really thinking about the whole idea !

I got one questions to ask..

-Would it we pointless if a made a accont now and uploaded something because i seen that the top 10 atm were generated by the number of hits ? am i right ? How are your judges going to be assessing the song, no. of hits(surely not) or what they think is good ?
