Re: The Dungeon Sound

Post by Paddy Mullan » Wed Jul 06, 2011 8:24 pm

I'm really feeling this 'Dungeon Sound' thing. I think the drums of these types of tunes are ridiculous! So simple, yet so effective. I find it hard to get a hold of any of these sounding drums, I need to know where to get some! Any help?

Also, this guy on YouTube (if you havent already subscribed to) called MrOliGizzle, he uploads 80% of the dungeon dubstep sound, that guy is pushing things forward. Skeley69 also (TrusikDubstep.) is pushing out the sound big time, devoting alot of his time to the sound to get people informed, the guy needs some respect!

Finnaly, any news on Sleeper/District releases? These guys are KILLING it.

i dunno about everyone else, but all of my drums are composed entirely of sounds from the opening theme for "fresh prince of bel air", starring willl smith. followed by EQing and compression.

Yeah D1 is sick, he needs to get back to this sound, although his newer stuff is still really good.

Funny u shud say that I was thinking about it n was gonna post on this thread if anyone knows of a decent youtube channel for the more darker dubstep... "dungeon" if ya like

I know there's prolly a few little ones, but I mean, like UKF or Inspector Dubplate or The Filth Effect, but for the good stuff, with exclusives and offical promo n stuff, and a fair amount of subs, coz there should be really, even if half the ppl that visit this thread subscribed that wud be quite a lot, just a thought anyway...

Would be sweet

Also want to plug a channel that i do on the side, just to get some more decent music on youtube.
