Bombaclartt statement

Bredren gotta do a lil homework on the ethos of the one we call Mala. Proper on the gatefold, maybe i'll buy that too and keep the box sealed. I'll keep it next to my DMZ003.

yoou inspired me to organize & memorize each label, thinking that i had dmz003 but realised it was actually medi-3 haha kind of dissapointing, big release though

Yeah I've never been sold on Miracles either, it's mainly the note progression in the first drop that ruins it for me. Reminds me of something my high school music teacher would tell me to play as an exercise.

Can't decide which is favourite out of Change, Tourist or the intro

I hear you. That tune gets better as it goes on i reckon, much more interesting sub/chord pattern in the second drop..
The drums though on that tune: faultless.

do you hear that bumpin' bass walking along with that badman goin 'miracles, miracles, miracles, miracles' ?
yes, 'tis monotonous and dull as hell. such a dreary line. the hat/bell just pisses me off aswell.

Wasn't expecting much from this album tbh. Love the percussion, but those piano or whatever they are, trumpets etc samples totally ruin it for me. Actually stopped listening to it when I got to Calle F. Definitely not for me.

lol
The thing is the tunes have some weight to them and the percussion's on point, but those other elements give off a loungey kinda vibe, which I find totally off-putting.

ultraspatial, I really like that lounge-y thing, works in a perfect contrast with the rhythm and bass
Miracles is all about the drums and those little stabs and vocal samples that intertwine with them to create this rhythmic drive that pushes the tune along - don't think about the actual sub line, think about the rhythm that it takes on with the drums, THAT'S what makes miracles such an epic tune
for me it's a playoff between level 9, miracles, calle f, noches suarez, cuba electronica, and education. wayyyyy too many and wayyyy too tough to decide

Miracles is a real sound system tune IMO, I was never that fussed by it but then when you hear it on a soundsystem it just comes to life!
Lean forward will always be a percy!
*edit* Misty Winter has got to be the most under rated dubstep tune ever. When T_! dropped it in the fort arena at outlook I went completely mental!
