As I mentioned, that come close to being the ultimate dubstep album. Thing that makes it fall of being the best example is the vocals. I really like the vocals on MOTF, but by its very nature, dubstep is largely vocal-free.
A little bit conservative, no?
I'm trying to be conservative about it. I'm talking about the ultimate representation of dubstep in album form (ignoring compilations). Exactly like Ultraspatial said, you could go all free form and drop some Ekoplekz stuff or something, but nothing else sounds like that in the slightest.

not saying theyre bad producers or anything, ive just never rated their music. well, actually....skreams bad. he steals. he's the new zomby.
its probs cos i listened to roots music, soul and hip hop for a long time before i even knew dubstep existed, so i dont like the noiser more electro-y stuff

he ripped the ENTIRE tune from the sample pack, put like 2 shit vocal samples over it and then rambled on and on for ages to the interviewer bout how he used strictly no samples and it was just pure disco vibes and it took him ages to get it right. its not like he used one shaker loop or something. theres a difference between proper sampling (crate digger style) and just googling "disco sample pack" and then passing off a whole song u got from it as ur own. fairly bait imo
skream

Real Disco has a high musicianship, from the kind of music Skream has made in the past, stripped down, basic, there is no way he can make such a large leap in a short space of time without the use of samples or experience of recording and producing for real musicians. If he does , he was hiding a hidden talent for all them years at the same time using Fruity samples. But he's still a better producer than most.

Dom's better as Prurient than as Vatican Shadow.
and old Prurient is better.
and he is great in Ash Pool too.
