What's the equivalent of the FL waveshaper in any other DAW?

Any waveshaper or sine shaper would do a similar job I think.

In fruity waveshaper you can draw your own shape, so you can get tons of different kinds of timbres.

Had a go at Kill The Noise style - straight out of Massive, no effects, two hours work (although the patch has taken a month or so of evolving, as 'Im sure all good patches do)
-Saw, Throat and Sonic wavetables. Mixture of Bend + and spectrum
-Minor phasing on the sonic which seems to be a key step.
-Shapers in the insert slots, Drive and d expander.
-Bandpass and double notch filters.
Linked everything to a performer lfo (only one because im too lazy) and there you go.
Mind If u post some screenshots? I can't get the sound

Restart Via Gate a lot of the work, I wish I knew what it was exactly.
Keep unison to 2, add a fraction of pitch cutoff (in the voicing tab) and mess with osc 2 if you like, mine was pretty much a placeholder saw wave and wasn't doing jack all. The 'mouth' seems to respond best to slower lfo rates. Heres a E4 straight out of the patch for reference.
Help, here's my go at a growl. Soundcloud
Honestly, I think it's pretty crap, but whatever. So, before someone inevitably asks "How did ya do that?," I'll explain:
1st, I began with this Massive patch
Note: Unisono is on 7
After that, I ran the Massive through a instance of WOW filter with these settings
After twiddling with the Cutoff knob and creating a sequence, I froze what I had so far I used two instances of Xfer's OTT plugin, both with these settings
Then, the last thing I did was put another WOW filter with the same settings (but with a really low Dry/Wet.)

Did anyone manage to reverse engineer the Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites growl?
Honestly who cares about any other growl. They all sound like default Massive presets compared to it.
Also, in the 2 years of producing I literally never knew about the fruity waveshaper. I guess you learn something everyday right?
That's right
Fruity waveshaper is really powerful plugin.

Hi there,
Good Job Impresario! If someone knows how to make a massive preset that sounds really close to this song (Knife Party - Suffer) it would be amazing . I'm seeking this sound for ages IMO Knife Party has the best growl sound I've ever heard, so Massive

There's like 15 different midranges in Suffer, which?
Also, a preset won't even get you close imo.

A good tip to make super skrillzors growls:
Delete WOW filter now. Or don't use vowel section. WOW filter has really good filter section but the vowel one JUST SUCKS. Use eq automation instead.

Sorry mthrfnk, I mean the growling sound when the Drop starts 0:27 and again at 0:30, 0:34 and 0:36

Man this is seriously misinformation, I've said it before: if you use the vowel filter right it can sound nice, you just have to be careful that you don't overdo the reso, the overdrive or the dry/wet. Once you start making the vowel more "obvious" in the sound it does sound shit, but if you use it subtly just to get a nice vocal effect it sounds nice imo, especially if you add in disto to empahasise it.

Sounds like a very gritty (over distorted) saw-bass based sound with some obvious automated vowel filtering, perhaps even WOW filter haha.

Short clip of the outro from a WIP. Still needs a bit of tweaking. Soundcloud
If anyone is interested, I could post some details and stuff
