pretty good. all about lucid dreaming /astral projection/plane but in one of its earlier context / shamanisim/sorcery/seers. tibetan budhism also has a lot of ground in lucid dremaing (Dream Yoga).
casteneda is don juans apprentice as he advises and teaches him despite how reluctant he is.
lucidity is a good thing to experience regardless of whether you belive the decorations around it.

working my way through this at the moment. really interesting, broadly looks at the existence of ancient civilisations and the possible influence of 'alien life' on our evolution.

obviously you need to approach this sort of stuff with an open mind, but saying that there's a good chunk of peer-reviewed sciency stuff behind it, it certainly can't be passed off as flaky which isn't something that can be said for similar books.

plus the author tried ayahuasca in the name of research for one of his other books, so buy it for that ffs

The Glass Bead Game.

It's pretty complex, and quite hard to get into to. I've heard a few people say it's one of the best books ever written, though (My mate down the pub lolol)

^^ Check 'Marabou Stork Nightmares'. I think that's his second book and almost as good as Trainspotting. In my opinion everything else he's written is fairly average

Yeah I think Marabou Stork Nightmares is amazing, funnily enough I've only read that and Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh, not sure how I've never got round to reading the others.

And I've said it before, but Graham Greene is sick!
